Lili Orjekhovska
Mrs. Lili holds a Masters in Piano Performance and a Choir Conductor from Kiev University of Music and Arts. She performed in various festivals across Ukraine, Poland, and Bulgaria as a soloist piano performer and a pianist accompanist. Nevertheless her real passion was teaching. Her teaching carrier started in the ancient Ukrainian city of Kamenets-Podolskiy as a piano teacher and a choir conductor in City College of Music and Arts. Nowadays, most of her students are professional musicians and piano performers.
Her successful career got a boost when she was invited to Buenos-Aires National Conservatory of Music as a piano teacher and a pianist accompanist. Submerged in active cultural life in Buenos-Aires, she performed many solo concerts and some of them were recorded and played by National Radio station. To enrich her teaching experience, she completed the teaching degree in “Fine Arts Academy” of Buenos-Aires. Her dream was finally accomplished with opening Willowdale Conservatory of Music and Arts in North York, Toronto where she focused to open the beautiful world of music to students of all ages. Her unique teaching style consisted of inspiring young souls while focusing on personal skills and needs of every student. Some of Lili’s graduated students have gone on to teach music in many schools around Toronto and even play piano for renowned ballet academies. |
Anna Shalaykevych
Born in a family of acclaimed Ukrainian singers, Anna grew up surrounded by music. She gave her first performance with Lviv Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of nine After graduating from Lysenko Music Academy in Lviv (Ukraine) with the Master's Degree,
Anna continued her studies at Anton Rubinstein Academy in Dusseldorf studying with winner of Chopin Competition prof. Dina Yoffe (Dusseldorf, Germany) where she obtained her Artist Diploma in Piano Performance. Anna is a prize-winner of International Competitions including First Prize Winner of Piano Duo Competition (Crimea, Ukraine), 2nd Prize Winner of Bechstein Piano Competition and has been awarded The Frederic Chopin Society Special Award. She leads rich concert activity both in Canada and abroad, appearing in solo and chamber performances and cooperating with a number of ensembles and musicians, including world-famous quartet "group MoCarta” in Wawer Music Festival (Warsaw, 2011), and one of the world's leading dramatic mezzo-soprano Malgorzata Walewska in Piano Forum (Bieszczady without Borders) in Sanok, Poland. As an active RCM Certified piano teacher and Collaborative Pianist Anna provides piano accompaniment for vocalists, instrumentalists, and choirs in a wide variety of genres and multiple settings such as competitions, auditions, and festivals. Recently Anna has made her orchestral debut in Canada with Toronto Concert Orchestra at the Barrie Concert season 2019 and created her own violin-piano duo named Artis Duo. |
Serghei Cirlan
Serghei Cirlan, guitar, has earned his BFA from the York University School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design, and is a student of the renowned flamenco guitarist Roger Scannura. Serghei also studied classical guitar with Robert Hamilton at the Royal Conservatory of Music, where he has performed in a master class with the famous American classical guitarist Eliot Fisk. He has been teaching guitar for a decade at a number of music schools. In addition to writing flamenco music and performing at various venues in Toronto, Serghei is currently preparing for his ARCT exams.

Olga Kaynara
Olga was born in Kiev, Ukraine. She started playing the piano at age 7, attending the state music school for gifted children. The teachers of Olga’s school provided her with an excellent basic understanding of theory and musical structure. She continued her studies at the National Tchaikovsky Music Academy of Ukraine.
Olga has a Master’s Degree in Music Teaching Methods and Performance, and is a classically trained pianist with 25 years of experience. She enjoys teaching children and possess the ability to motivate and communicate with them. Her goal as a musician and piano teacher is to help her students to do their very best in playing piano, and to prepare students for recitals and concerts. |
Lorienne Swales
Lorienne Swales was born in Derby, England and began her musical studies there at the age of 6. Lorienne holds an ARCT in Voice Performance from The Royal Conservatory of Music full time programme and an LTCL from Trinity College of Music London England. She also holds 2 certificates in Kodaly which is a method of teaching children with music. Lorienne studied voice with renowned voice teachers Helen Simmie, Paul Massel, and Master Teacher Patricia Kern and has won numerous scholarships in voice from The Canadian National Exhibition Competition, Contemporary Music Competition, Aspen School of Music and The Royal Conservatory of Music.
Lorienne has sung the operatic roles of Tosca, Leonora in Il Trovatore, and Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana. She has also sung in Recital with the Victoria Royce Music Series also in Panto with the roles of Prince Charming in Cinderella and Gretchen in Mother Goose. For over 2 decades she has sung as soloist in many churches in Toronto. Her passion now is teaching singing which she has done for 17 years. Her students have won Gold Medals for top marks in Ontario for their examinations with the Royal Conservatory of Music and have placed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in Music Competitions across the GTA. |
Tatiana Antoshina
Originally from Moscow, Tatiana received her musical education from the outstanding musicians who continue the traditions of Russian violin school: Professor Sergey Kravchenko (class of Leonid Kogan) at the State musical college of The Moscow Conservatory, and Professor Lilia Umnova (class of Semyon Snitkovsky) at The Belarusian State Academy of Music. Tatiana has been working at WCMA since 2013.
Her previous professional experience includes more than 25 years of teaching instrumental music, as well as performances with The Russian state academic chamber “Vivaldi-orchestra”, The Stanislavski, and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Music Theatre. These performances included tours in the USA, Italy, France, South Korea, and Japan. Tatiana has worked with students of all ages and experience levels, passionately guiding each student, whether the student is playing for their own enjoyment or preparing for an exam.

Artashes Hovhannisyan
Artashes Hovhannisyan is professional composer and teacher of music theory and history. Artashes received a M.M. in Composition from the Yerevan State Conservatory (Armenia) in 1998, a Diplame Superiur en Composition from Ecole Normale de Music d Paris Alfred Cortot (France) in 2003, and studied Ethnomusicology at the University Paris IV — Sorbonne (France) from 2003 to 2005. His output of compositions includes many orchestral, chambers, vocal and piano works. With his works Artashes became a laureate at the International Komitas Composition Competition for Folk and Spiritual Choral Works and International Edwaed Greig Memorial Competition for Composers.
The teaching career of Artashes began in Armenia in 1994, where he taught harmony and composition preparing students for harmony examinations of the Yerevan State Conservatory. Since 2005, Artashes has been living, composing music and teaching in Canada, preparing students for all the grades and subjects of RCM music theory and history exams.

Neanne Rose
Neanne has played piano ever since she was six years old and has completed her music studies with Lili Orjekhovska and her Harmony studies with Artashes Hovhannisyan. Neanne is a highly-motivated and confident music professional having over 10 years of experience in piano and has demonstrated leadership and communication skills throughout her experience. She is the type of person who always makes sure that her lessons are interesting and enjoyable. Neanne has studied at The New Conservatory of Music School and also Willowdale Conservatory of Music and Arts. She has won many awards including scholarships and performed at the Gala concert recital for successful pianists.
